Free Web Page Headers From the Sharezone

Whether you're sprucing up a blog or building a website or landing page, a good header graphic can really make a difference in the look and feel of your site.

The kicker? Its really hard to find free website header graphics that look good and fit the theme of your site. I know because I had a hard time finding anything on Google.

Most people just pay to get them custom built but there are also ways to get free website header graphics.

During my search, I found a great gallery that offers totally free website header graphics. All you do is sign up and search the gallery. You can then download and modify them as you wish.

Your other option is to make your own. I thought this would be hard to do but not after I saw the following video.

The video was done by Kent, a Wealthy Affiliate member, and is one of the top rated items in the WA Sharezone.

I've actually use this video (not the youtube version), to build a couple website headers and I think I did somewhat of a good job. I don't think I would have attempted it if I didn't see this video and the cool thing is I improvise and come up with my own techniques as well.

Some of the resources I use and recommended for building webpage headers are:

  • Photoshop - Photo editing software (kinda pricey)
  • Gimp - Free alternative to Photoshop
  • StockXchange - Free photos you can use
  • Picnik - Online Photo Editing App.
  • MWSnap - Free screen capture software.

Cheers for this, it seems whenever I do a search for free stuff, I end back where I first started on the usual make a free banner page, with the standard make a banner and there all shite!!

By the way here are so many people on the internet are you on other places like hubpages or squidoo?, your name rings a bell.

Anyhow nice blog and the discussion over on problogger about adding your name or a related keyword is the type of discussions that I wish could happen on one of my blogs...lots of comments! boo hoo!! I guess I'll have to wait a long time for that to happen!!
